Italiana Fifty Five Didsbury: Experience Authentic Italian Dining in the Heart of Didsbury

Had a great meal here last night with my friends. We were given a booth which was comfy. The cocktails were on offer and I had the tiramisu cocktail which was tasty. My friends had the pineapple mojito which was also well received. Service was great throughout. The red haired waiter and the Spanish waiter did a great job in keeping us well topped up and even joined in our conversation! The food was really good, it’s a chain (albeit small) which always makes me think the food won’t be authentic but it really was. As a starter we got the antipasto for three (between four) and it was perfect to share. I had the farfalle pasta with king prawns and had touches of pomegranate. It really popped the dish and tasted fantastic. The pizza was decent and my friend said his mushroom tagliatelle was awesome. We were full by then so didn’t have any deserts. The wine was good, I had the gavi and can vouch it was a good bottle. I would definitely go again. Lots of interesting things on the menu. Only a 4/5 for atmosphere purely because it was relatively quiet and I like busy places. Nothing to put someone off though.

Great pizza and our server Rose was so lovely. I'd come back!! Good value too for a fancy looking restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed an early evening meal last Monday night. The food was all delicious. The staff a d service was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. We could not fault anything and will definitely go again!

Came here with my wife on Monday, and was so impressed we brought our daughter back on Thursday for her 18th birthday. The food and service were excellent, and the staff treated our daughter so nicely and really made her feel special, giving her one of the nicest evenings of her life. I have seldom if ever felt so welcomed at a restaurant, and the food was beautiful as well.

We had a lovely family dinner and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The food and desserts were nice. The only issue was the garlic bread which was burnt underneath and we had to get it replaced, the second one was really nice.

To startvoff with, I wasn't sure if we had made a mistake coming here for dinner, as it took an age to be able to order. However, the service and food ended up be really good... and the prices are reasonable for the size of the portions.

We have enjoyed the half price for. Menu. All foods are fresh made according to the restaurant manager, he’s explain very deeply details about all the foods. Nice view nice food

Unreal dinner. Such good value and it’s not even expensive - this trio dessert spread was £12! The best quality and service. All the servers were smiley and lovely, will definitely be returning.
